River Scene by Roger Comte

Well respected in France Roger Comte (1913 - 2006), has his own museum in the house he spent the latter half of his life. He is admired for his unique self-taught style. In this emotive scene he has used a very controlled pallet with good effect. Framed in a Montparnasse frame.
